Pinktober 2009, the 10th anniversary of the program, proved to be a banner year for Hard Rock's annual campaign to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. Everyone who purchased the Hard Rock Breast Cancer Awareness Pin, T-Shirt, or any of our Pinktober products helped raise money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Caron Keating Foundation. Anyone who attended one of the 175+ (that's right, 175!) Hard Rock events around the world helped raise money for various local and national breast cancer charities. Everyone who stayed in a Hard Rock Hotels Pink Sheets room raised even more money for the cause.

Melissa Etheridge kicked off Pinktober with a very special two-day media blitz in NYC and Washington D.C. The Bangles lit up Hard Rock Hotel Orlando's Velvet Sessions with an incredible Pinktober performance. During the month, Hard Rock Cafes the world over hosted parties, fashion shows, and concerts for the cause. Pinktober culminated with the Women Of Rock Pinktober charity concert at London's Royal Albert Hall, bringing together some of the U.K.'s foremost females in modern pop music.

We'd like to thank all who participated. From all the Hard Rockers to all the bands, from Rock Shop customers to Hard Rock Cafe Pin Collectors' Club members, and everyone in-between, Hard Rock is grateful for your involvement with Pinktober. Thank you.
