Hello my friends,

As 2012 comes to a close I wanted to send you all my gratitude. Thank you for coming to the shows and sharing your joy with me. It means so much to me that year after year you enjoy listening to the music. We rocked in Australia and New Zealand. I got to see my European fans and catch up with you. Thank you for the 4th Street Feeling Tour, I am having a blast playing those songs.

Maybe you have noticed that I am intending myself to grow as a performer. With all the love and joy I have sharing these songs with you on stage, I am pushing my creative energies as far as I can. Thanks for coming with me on this journey.

Maybe you have heard about the coming "new age." All the talk of December 2012 is just the understanding of a new time for us. Look around; doesn't it seem that people might be becoming less fearful? Maybe all of our differences are blending. Maybe this new year we can all lay aside some of our fears and take a good look inside of ourselves...it is a beautiful place.

The 14th Annual 'A Home For The Holidays,' a moving holiday special airing on the CBS TV Network, tells inspirational stories about adoption from foster care. This year's program will be hosted by Rascal Flatts with performances by Melissa Etheridge, Rascal Flatts, Rachel Crow, Matchbox Twenty and Phillip Phillips; Wayne Brady, Kevin Frazier and Jillian Michaels are presenters. Melissa will play "It's Christmas Time" from her holiday album, A New Thought For Christmas.
