The Melissa Etheridge Radio Show wins Gracie Award for Outstanding Talk Show!


Melissa will be accepting her award today! The Melissa Etheridge Radio Show has won the Gracie Award for Outstanding Talk Show - Entertainment/Information category. Presented each year by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation, the Gracies honor programming that is created by women, for women and about women, and recognizes individuals who have made valuable contributions to the industry.

The 38th Annual Gracie Awards will be presented on May 21, 2013, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Ovation (the official media partner of the Gracies) will make the Gracie Awards Gala available to its Video-On-Demand subscribers and online at in July.

Melissa to be recipient of New York Chapter Recording Academy Honors 2013

Songwriters/performing artists Ashford & Simpson, GRAMMY®-winning violinist Joshua Bell, GRAMMY-winning artist Melissa Etheridge, GRAMMY-winning creators of "Les Misérables" — Alain Boublil, Herbert Kretzmer and Claude-Michel Schönberg — and R&B singer/songwriter Trey Songz are recipients of the New York Chapter Recording Academy Honors 2013.

The Recording Academy Honors® was established to celebrate outstanding individuals whose work embodies excellence and integrity and who have improved the environment for the creative community. The event will be hosted June 25, 2013, at 6 p.m. at 583 Park Avenue. This gala will support the Chapter's ongoing advocacy, education and professional development programs.

Melissa Receives NMWA Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts

The National Museum of Women in the Arts held its 25th anniversary fall benefit in Washington D.C. on Nov 4. Melissa received their Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts, toured the Museum and played 4 songs: "The Weakness In Me," Come To My Window," "I Run For Life," and "Me And Bobby McGee."

Melissa to receive NMWA Award for Excellence (Nov 4, Wash D.C.)

The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) in Wash D.C. will honor Melissa with their Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts at this year's event on Nov 4. The intimate evening at the museum's Great Hall will include cocktails and a seated dinner, followed by the award presentation and an acoustic set by Melissa.
